The Samshield 2.0 model has been improved in many respects:

• The fit has been changed so that the helmet covers the head more and sits slightly lower at the back to provide optimal safety
• An additional ventilation grille has been added at the back, offering more air circulation
• The chin strap is integrated into the shell for a better fit to the head; the ear cutout has also been improved so that it no longer presses on the ears
• The chin strap is more refined
• There is only one type of chin strap, no longer a distinction between dressage or standard; naturally, the development of the Samshield 2.0 helmet took into account dressage riders competing in shows, so wearing a hair bun is perfectly fine with this helmet
• The trim is 3D, ensuring there is no interruption at the ventilation grilles; when ordering the Full Swarovski, there are now 300 crystals instead of 255
• The Samshield 2.0 helmets are also available in an XL shell, which goes up to size 64

The outer part of this Samshield 2.0 is made of polycarbonate, a material used for motorcycle helmets, among other things. The helmet is covered with a scratch-resistant coating. There are various shell sizes available (S, M, L, and XL). Each shell is suitable for 4 to 5 sizes of liners to ensure an optimal fit for the head. The liners are available from size 52 to 64. With this system, it is also possible for the helmet to grow along with younger riders. The interchangeable inner liners feature a clip system, making them easy to remove and insert for washing (max. 30° C).
