The Samshield 2.0 model has been improved in many respects:

• The fit has been changed so that the helmet sits deeper on the head and closes slightly lower at the back to provide optimal safety
• An extra ventilation grill has been added at the back, providing the helmet with increased airflow
• The chin strap is integrated into the shell for a better fit around the head, and the ear opening has been improved so it no longer presses against the ear
• The chin strap is more refined
• There is now only one type of chin strap; there is no longer a distinction between dressage or standard. Naturally, the development of the Samshield 2.0 helmet considered dressage riders competing in shows, so a bun fits perfectly while wearing this helmet
• The trim is 3D, ensuring there is no interruption at the ventilation grills; for orders of the Full Swarovski version, there are now 300 crystals instead of 255
• The Samshield 2.0 helmets are also available in an XL shell, which goes up to size 64

The outer part of this Samshield 2.0 Miss Shield Shadowmatt with Crystal Fabric frontal band and blazon is made of polycarbonate, a material also used for motorcycle helmets. The helmet is covered with a scratch-resistant coating. Various shells are available (S, M, L, and XL). Each shell is suitable for 4 to 5 sizes of liners, ensuring an optimal fit for the head. Liners are available from size 52 to 64. With this system, it is also possible for the helmet to grow with younger riders. The removable inner liners feature a clip system, making them easy to take out for washing (max. 30° C).
