The Samshield 2.0 model has been improved in many ways:

• The fit has been changed so that the helmet covers more of the head and sits slightly lower at the back to provide optimal safety
• An additional ventilation port has been added to the rear, allowing for increased air circulation
• The chinstrap is integrated into the shell for a better fit around the head; the ear cutout has also been improved so that it no longer presses against the ear
• The chinstrap is more refined
• There is now only one type of chinstrap, with no distinction between dressage and standard; naturally, the development of the Samshield 2.0 helmet took dressage riders competing in shows into account, so it is perfectly suited for wearing a bun
• The trim is 3D, meaning there is no interruption at the ventilation ports; for orders of the Full Swarovski version, there are now 300 crystals instead of 255
• Samshield 2.0 helmets are also available in an XL shell, which goes up to size 64

The outer shell of this Samshield 2.0 Miss Shield Shadowmatt is made of polycarbonate, a material also used for motorcycle helmets. The helmet is covered with a scratch-resistant coating. Various shell sizes are available (S, M, L, and XL). Each shell is suitable for 4 to 5 liner sizes, ensuring an optimal fit for the head. The liners are available from size 52 to 64. With this system, it is also possible for the helmet to grow with younger riders. The removable inner liners feature a clip system, making them easy to take out and put in for washing (max. 30° C).
