The Samshield 2.0 model has been improved in many respects:

• The fit has been changed so that the helmet covers more of the head and sits slightly lower at the back to provide optimal safety
• An additional ventilation grille has been added at the back, providing the helmet with increased air circulation
• The chin strap is integrated into the shell for a better fit around the head; the ear cutout has also been improved so that it no longer presses on the ear
• The chin strap has been refined
• There is now only one type of chin strap; no more distinction between dressage or standard. Naturally, the development of the Samshield 2.0 helmet considered dressage riders competing in shows, so wearing a bun is perfectly fine with this helmet
• The trim is 3D, ensuring no interruption at the ventilation grilles; for orders of the Full Swarovski version, there are now 300 stones instead of 255
• The Samshield 2.0 helmets are also available in an XL shell, which goes up to size 64

The outer part of this Samshield 2.0 Miss Shield Shadowglossy is made of polycarbonate, a material also used for motorcycle helmets. The helmet is covered with a scratch-resistant coating. Various shells are available (S, M, L, and XL). Each shell is suitable for 4 to 5 sizes of liners to ensure an optimal fit for the head. The liners are available from size 52 up to 64. This system also allows the helmet to grow with younger riders. The interchangeable inner liners feature a clip system, making them easy to remove and insert for washing (max. 30° C).
