The Samshield 2.0 model has been improved in many ways:

• The fit has been changed so that the helmet covers more of the head and fits lower at the back to provide optimal safety
• An extra ventilation grille has been added at the back, providing the helmet with more air circulation
• The chin strap is integrated into the shell, ensuring a better fit to the head; the ear hole has also been improved so that it no longer presses on the ear
• The chin strap is more refined
• There is now only one type of chin strap, no more dressage or standard; naturally, the development of the Samshield 2.0 cap took into account dressage riders competing in shows, so wearing a bun with this helmet is perfectly fine
• The trim is 3D, meaning there is no interruption at the ventilation grilles; when ordering the Full Swarovski version, there are now 300 crystals instead of 255
• The Samshield 2.0 helmets are also available in an XL shell, which goes up to size 64

The outer part of this Samshield 2.0 premium is made of polycarbonate, a material also used for motorcycle helmets. The helmet is covered with a scratch-resistant layer. Various shell sizes are available (S, M, L, and XL). Each shell is suitable for 4 to 5 liner sizes, aiming for an optimal fit for the head. The liners are available from size 52 up to 64. With this system, it is also possible for the helmet to grow with younger riders. The removable inner liners are equipped with a clip system so that they can be easily removed and inserted for washing (max. 30° C).
