- Sweet Iron double-jointed snaffle bit with a round center piece
- a gag bit is similar to a bust bit, it lies stable in the mouth and cannot be pulled through the mouth
- In addition, the clamps along the cheeks ensure that the head is also guided during steering, which can be very pleasant when training young horses.
- With a cheek bit, the rings of the bit cannot rotate freely through the mouthpiece, which means the effect is slightly stronger than with a water bit
- the double-jointed mouthpiece adapts well to the horse's mouth
- the pressure is distributed over the center of the tongue and the layers
- because the middle part is rounded, the pressure on the tongue is less sharp
- thickness 16 mm
- Sweet Iron develops surface rust through contact with (air) moisture that tastes sweet and naturally stimulates saliva production
- Sweet Iron makes horses foam more, which ensures better acceptance of the bit
- the rusting process (oxidation) changes the blue color of the TRUST bits to brown-gray
- When a sweet iron bit is not used for a while, an orange-brown rust layer can form on the mouthpiece, this can easily be removed by wiping the bit with a damp cloth
- All Trust bits are anatomically shaped and handmade in the Netherlands
